Studies in Linguistic Uses for Fundamental Frequency

Several related projects examining typological differences in how languages use fundamental frequency.  Below, they are indexed in the left column by topics: General, Tone, Pitch Accent, and Consonantal Microprosody.

Some projects supported originally by NIDCD Grant R03 DC04095 and NSF Grant BCS-9910701 (“Articulatory and Perceptual Correlates of Syllable Structure”), from September, 2000 – August, 2003, and NSF Grant BCS-04406540 (“Prosody in Cross-Language Production and Perception”).
